The Hatfield House is a historic house in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia, built in 1760. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 16, 1972. Originally built a few miles away in Nicetown and later moved to its present location,〔http://articles.philly.com/1987-09-29/news/26212367_1_art-museum-hatfield-house-porch〕 it operated as Catherine Mallon's Boarding School for girls in the nineteenth century while it was owned by Dr. Nathan L. Hatfield, of the University of Pennsylvania. The Hatfield House was donated to Fairmount Park Commission by Major Henry Reed Hatfield in 1929-1930 and moved one story at a time to 33rd and Girard Avenue, its present location. It is currently leased as office space by the Father's Day Fund. ==See also==
